As a Local Chapter Leader of a Rockstart Answers event, you’ll be creating a valuable forum for knowledge sharing while connecting new startup ideas with a community of entrepreneurs, mentors and investors.
The Rockstart Answers organizer stimulates their local startup ecosystem through the organization of Rockstart Answers events with the support of the Rockstart Answers HQ team in Amsterdam.
As an organizer, you would be:
– Creating the calendar of Rockstart Answers events in your city
– Forming and leading a team of local organizers
– Giving 5 different startups the opportunity to pitch & receive feedback at each event
– Inviting the best experts to your events and fostering valuable connections between them and the startups
– Communicating and promoting your events
– Organizing event logistics: finding a venue, organizing breakfast, etc.
– Finding sponsors to cover your event costs
– the main contact with Rockstart Answers HQ
– Fostering a learning and sharing community within the entrepreneurs of your city
To be part of the growing global community of Rockstart Answers organizers and larger Rockstart family, strengthen your position as a local influencer in your startup community and put you in close contact with driven entrepreneurs that will inspire you.
Yes, we strongly encourage you to have a team of 3 people.
There are 2 seasons of events per year: Spring Season (March, April, May) and Fall Season (September, October, November).
Around 2-4 hours per week per team member in the 6 weeks leading up to the event.
You can reach out to sponsors or potential partners to cover your event costs, or provide you with the supplies you need in kind.
Although, this sponsorship cannot be used to pay any salaries and/ or compensations. Rockstart Answers HQ will provide you with tools to reach out to your local sponsors.
The first event is always a pilot event. After that, both the organizer and Rockstart Answers HQ have an evaluation and move forward from there.
The founders of early-stage and high potential startups from a diverse range of industries that are local to your city. They are open to sharing on of the challenges they are facing in their startup and on receiving feedback from the experts on how to resolve it.
In case if you have a professional photographer taking pictures and/ or videos please make sure that you can use them for free and they transfer you the IP rights.
We create all the accounts that you will need at Rockstart Answers HQ.
