Held at the Vivo Theatre, the two day conference included, talks, workshops and discussions on the most up-to-date startup topics like, the timing of international startups, female entrepreneurs, the opportunity in the education sector, and web marketing – emotional psychology. Another hot topic, startup acceleration programs were also on the agenda. Don Ritzen took part in a round table with founders of four Brazilian accelerators:  Anthony Eigie  [Tree Labs], Tiago Mabilde [Pipa], Felipe Lachowski [Startup House], Felipe Matos [Startup Farm]. In his keynote speech, Don shared with the avid audience seven tips to help improve a startup’s progress. Among others he talked about the opportunities that should not be missed, the art of networking and the spirit that leads to success. Check out Don’s presentation here:

Red Innova also hosted the Brazil Startup Competition. Among the hundreds of startups that signed up for competition, the top 12 were selected to pitch their ideas. From the top 12, four finalists were chosen. First place went to the Ecuadorian startup, and life experience seller, EscapeswithYou, and in second place was the Brazilian startup B2Blue. Great work guys, look forward to hearing more about you in the near future!

Many investors, bloggers and startups showed up in São Paulo. Our friend and Rockstart Accelerator alumnus, Alejandro Rigatuso, was there too, following new opportunities for helping people build up their audiences on social platforms with Postcron.
