Lev Tatarov is a conversion and product specialist. Starting his career as a developer, he became interested with developing not just great software but also a great product. He drove data-drive product development and A/B testing at eBay (Marktplaats) and, pursuing that passion, joined Optimizely as a Strategy Consultant. There he worked to help some of the world’s leading brand to get better at A/B testing and personalization, and fit those into their product development process. Today, as a freelance CRO consultant, he is passionate about developing the methodology for product optimization and use his experience to enable the world to turn data into the right action.
I studies computer science in Tel-Aviv University and started as a developer. Worked with both back-end and front-end technologies. As product developer at eBay I worked on rapid prototyping (MVP) and optimization (A/B testing, yield optimization) with high focus on problem discovery and definition. At Optimizely I worked with customers to improve and focused on change management and methodology. Both advising and learning examples of how such practices can be run in an organization. At NU.nl I am putting that knowledge into practice in order to drive their optimizaiton program.
